Little Flower Ashram has its origin in the year 2001. The ‘Peniel Village’ was established in 2004 in view of starting several welfare projects for the poor, abandoned and down-trodden in the society, such as home for the mentally and physically challenged, home for the aged, hospice for the terminally ill, etc. A home for the mentally and physically challenged started functioning in July 2005.
